This is a great day out for the family with lots to do. The tour of the castle is amazing and right at the top of the tower there is a letter from George Washington to one of the Macpherson-Grant ancestors written in his own hand during the American War of Independence! What a treasure! A lovely tea room with fruit scones and cakes, second to none! The model railway was just the ticket for young and old. There were also Llamas and and a children’s playground with lots more besides.
